Did you know that April is National Stress Awareness Month in the US?
Friend, I don’t know about you, but I have found these last few years to be STRESSFUL!
I know it’s not just me. In fact, according to a poll conducted by the American Psychological Association, 27% of American adults are so stressed most days that they are unable to function. And more than 3/4 of adults in America (76%) reported that they had experienced at least one symptom in the last month as a result of stress, such as headache, fatigue, feeling nervous or anxious, and feeling depressed.
Stress can stand in the way of you claiming yours, whether that’s more money, more freedom, or more time for yourself and your family.
So for all of April, in honor of Stress Awareness Month, this newsletter will be dedicated to reducing the stress in your life!

Do Something Creative!
Whether it’s drawing, painting, writing, singing, dancing, or anything else you can think of, creativity can have a huge impact on your stress levels and overall mood.
Have you ever gotten so into what you were doing that you forgot about everything else going on in your life? Like every part of your being was focused on creating or doing that one thing?
Scientists call this a state of flow.
Not only does this kind of activity give you a much-needed break from the stressors in your life, but it also causes your brain to release large amounts of norepinephrine, dopamine, endorphins, and serotonin. These are chemicals that induce pleasure and enhance both physical and mental performance.
